Our founding team has helped to create successful businesses including Salesforce.com & NetSuite, and have held key executive positions at Business Objects, Oracle, Siebel’s Analytics and CRM OnDemand divisions, Informix, BEA and Informatica.

Opportunity:

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Consultant to handle the technical and value components of the pre-sales process. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Leverage your skills as a sales and analytics professional to develop a deep understanding of the client’s business problem, focused on sales operations.
  • Demonstrate the value proposition of the LucidEra solution related to the client's business problem.
  • Strategize sales opportunities in conjunction with sales personnel to develop effective strategies for winning the business.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to automate the pre-sales consulting model to allow for scalability.
  • Provide regular feedback to the executive team regarding the sales cycle, customer experience, customer needs, marketing programs, industry trends and competitive threats.
  • Be part of an energized startup that is nimble and exciting.

Qualifications:

  • An unwavering commitment to the customer, to the team and to the Company.
  • Candidate should have a clear preference for a results-based entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience building business cases and presenting solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience with reporting and analysis solutions, business intelligence market and sales/finance analytics.
  • Experience with mid-market companies a major plus.
  • Exceptional communication and problem solving skills. Accomplished presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years of client-facing sales consulting or business consulting experience.
  • A lot of enthusiasm, energy, and intelligence, with a can-do attitude. We also like people with a good sense of humor – just so you know.

The position is located in San Mateo, California and will require some travel.
