We are looking for an experienced J2EE developer who thrives on complex technical challenges to work on a lifecycle metadata repository service for analytics. Using innovative code generation and advanced modeling techniques, you will push the limits of the state of the art.

Opportunity:

  • Design, architect and implement LucidEra’s metadata services:
    • Full application life cycle support for application design/configuration, code generation and incremental deployment.
    • An integrated Analytics metadata model comprising ETL, ROLAP and Reporting.
  • Define an elegant API for metadata access for use by the UI tools and applications.
  • Design, develop, test/QA, and implement software utilizing Java programming language.
  • Interact with product management and architects to define/refine requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with a proven track-record for excellence.
  • Java, UML modeling, SQL, XML, XSLT, WebServices.
  • Experience with metadata repository services for Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse tools/applications.
  • Experience with metadata standards and technologies such as JMI, Common Warehouse Model (CWM), and MDR is a big plus.
  • Experience with developing a commercial repository engine such as Informatica Repository Server, Oracle Warehouse Builder Repository etc. is a plus.

  • Know the tools of the trade Eclipse, Ant, JUnit, Selenium and Perforce.
  • Commitment to test driven development.
  • Strong communicator with BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering.
  • A ton of enthusiasm, energy, intelligence, a can-do attitude, and a good sense of humor.
