Our founding team has helped create successful businesses including Salesforce.com & NetSuite, and have held key executive positions at Business Objects, Oracle, Siebel’s Analytics and CRM on-demand divisions, Informix, BEA and Informatica.

Reporting to the VP Sales, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will generate new business opportunities by following proven processes to prospect into business accounts. The SDR will identify and research targeted company lists and develop structured email and telephone campaigns to discover new business opportunities. The SDR will conduct high-level conversations with senior executives about their business and marketing issues and operations. The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious, and can effectively interact with a team. This position has advancement potential within the Sales organization, and the compensation package includes an uncapped commission structure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Strategize with top-producing Sales Managers.
  • Orchestrate discussions with senior execs around their business needs.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects.
  • Engage Executives in targeted prospect accounts.
  • Leverage CRM tools to prospect into specific geographic territories.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Entrepreneurial outlook, enjoy building new processes.
  • Desire to learn software and software sales techniques.
  • CRM (salesforce.com) experience a plus.
  • Optimistic, trustworthy, sharp, persistent, self-starting.
  • Knowledge of the High-Tech industry a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Requires a Bachelors degree.
  • 3+ years sales prospecting or business development experience.
  • Experience calling at the executive level.
  • Software sales experience a plus.
