Opportunity:

We’re looking for someone who wants the challenge of leading all aspects of user interface engineering and architecture. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Work with product management on UI requirements and product UI design.
• Translate UI requirements into product feasibility, UI framework architecture and define requirements for underlying backend services.
• Build the initial prototypes that will prove your design’s feasibility.
• Use your talents to tackle really challenging design issues, and implement a leading-edge UI framework.
• Create design specifications and build the UI components that will shape the overall look and feel and define the user interactions for all aspects of the solution.

Qualifications:

• A portfolio showing success in delivering simple UI solutions to complex problems.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Many years of experience designing user-centered web-based applications.
• Experience with architecting Web UI framework.
• Experience with designing reporting and analytics solutions is a major plus.
• Knowledge of the tools of the trade, including DHTML, JavaScript, JSP, JSF, XML, Flash, Flex and AJAX as well as knowledge of the LAMP stack. Dojo or GWT experience is a major plus.
• Experience with website performance, scalability and reliability is a major plus.
• Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) is a major plus.
• A commitment on “Test Driven Development”.
• A degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on User Interface Design.
• A ton of enthusiasm, energy, and intelligence, with a can-do attitude. We also like people with a good sense of humor.
